The 4th of July was a blast- pun intended. Although, we really didn't see too many fireworks this year because of an 8pm bedtime! We did hear plenty of them, along with gunshots and fire trucks in our neighborhood!!
The Highlands neighborhood where we live had their very first 4th of July parade and festivities in the park down the street. It was great seeing all the decorated bikes and kids running around with ice cream all over their faces.
Then we drove up to Nederland, Colorado, which is just outside Boulder, to see our friend Pat. What an amazing house! There was a beautiful view of the mountains and the resevoir. I don't think i've ever eaten so many hot dogs in one day!
Hope you all had a great 4th. Tomorrow we're flying to San Antonio to see Grandpa and Nana Lux! Can't wait!!!!

I love how we all have our fourth of July posts - so cute! :) Ronnie is getting some curly hair, yes? He is gonna be quite the heartbreaker, my goodness! Oh I liked your crawling post too. One of my friends w/ a 9-month-old was saying their baby went from crawling to pulling herself up to "walking" (along table edges, etc) all within the same week! They had to childproof their house immediately!
