Texas Sized Fun

San Antonio with Grandpa and Nana was so much fun! We did a lot of sight seeing- we went to The Alamo- Ronnie was sleeping :(, the River walk and even went to see the DaVinci exhibit at a local museum. Rob and I got to see a movie and had a date night at the river walk.

We were gone for 5 hours- the longest ever away from our little man. When we got back, Ronnie was sleeping in Grandpa's arms. He was eating lots of food and did so well on our many outings.

Nana and Betsy had got him a load of new toys, but all he was interested in was that purple spatula and Grandpa's bracelet. Typical!
We flew back on Thursday morning and Ronnie was a wreck! I think he slept for 30 minutes total that day! But, yesterday and today he's back on a good schedule.

Fun things Ronnie is doing: he says "dog". Every morning when he woke up at Nana and Grandpa's house that was the first thing he said! It's not a clear pronunciation, but it's definitely dog.

Now that we're home, he's calling the cat "dog" and I think he thinks all animals are dogs! He's still saying "mama" and "papa" all the time, which is so cute. I went downstairs to get the laundry and he was in the kitchen saying "mama, mama, mama". Heart melting!!

I go back to work on Monday after being off for a little over two weeks. It was so nice spending so much time with Ronnie. I could get used to that!! But, it's also nice to be able to leave the house and have some time to myself. God bless all you stay-at-home moms!!!
