Summer Fun

What could be better than your first bite of watermelon and your first visit to a goat farm?! Ronnie is one lucky fella. He has had a rough go of things the last few days- two more teeth on the top are coming in. We're afraid he's getting spoiled by sleeping with us for the past few nights, but it's really all we can come up with! Short of us getting up with him every hour on the hour, which is not fun and leaves all of us sleepy, it seems like him coming to our bed is logical. I can feed him and snuggle and still get some sleep. I'm sure he'll be back to the "sleeping through the night in his own bed" kid we all know and love soon.

Jenny's mom, "Grandma Gannon" was over with Bruce, Jenny and Claire for dinner the other night. That Claire is a hoot! I hope you're all visiting her blog for new pics. I'll put some here just to tempt you! Ronnie really loves Claire and we're so excited for them to grow up together. Claire is super smart, so we know they're going to be two really tricky teenagers!

On Memorial Day we took some of The Truffle staff and customers to Haystack Mountain Goat Dairy for a tour of their cheesemaking facility and to see all their new baby goats. HOW CUTE!!! They like to suck on your fingers and nibble and scream and jump all around. Then there's the mommy goats who are so mellow, the male goats who totally look like the studs they are and the regular "milkers" who just eat all day. It's really a great place to visit.
