6 Months Today!

Hello all. Well, as promised i've added some pictures of the ever-expanding belly. Saturday felt like a growing day. Our friend Melissa gave us boxes and boxes of baby clothes, baby blankets, shoes, pack-n-play, bottles, bathtub, socks, hats... our dresser in the nursery is FULL! Plus, there's a box of girls clothes and toddler clothes in the basement! We sorted out the "unisex" clothes from the girley clothes so we can remain neutral. We can't thank Melissa enough! (I hope she likes cheese because she's getting a big cheese platter as a thanks!)

But, I have to tell you that those little girl dresses are sooo cute! Why is it that girl's clothes are so much cuter than boys? Megan, take note and make some fashion changes, would you?!

Today is our 24th week with baby, which means i'm officially 6 months pregnant! I had a dream last night that I could see it's little fingers from my stomach. It was weird. Besides not really getting a good night's sleep for the past few weeks, all is well. I guess that's your body's way of preparing you for sleep deprivation.

Rob is at The Truffle today, which gives me time to do housework, make dinner for the week and do the laundry and errands. We're getting a new car soon, which will make Rob sleep better! He thinks my car is about to fall apart, which is probably true. So, the new mommy-mobile should be helpful.

These photos were taken this morning. I really feel like this baby is all in my belly. I was initially afraid that the baby would grow in my ass, but besides the small widening, I feel pretty lucky! Pilates twice a week and water strength training classes once a week, plus bartending at a busy restaurant have kept me in pretty good shape. I'm eating only organics, besides the occasional soft serve ice cream from DQ, and really trying to eat out of the garden.

We'll see what the next 4 months have to say, though!
