It finally snowed the other day! It took me about 20 minutes to get both kids into their snow suits and then it turned into a muddy mess because there wasn't much snow. But, Ronnie was so excited to be out in snow, after all the reading of winter books about stuff he was finally excited to play in. Sam really didn't care too much.
We've had great weather, though. We've been hitting all the neighborhood parks, the zoo and going on walks.

Thanksgiving was great! The Lawlers were here- Jasmine, Mom and Dad. Ronnie had so much fun. We went to our friend's restaurant, Duo, and had a private celebration with them and other friends. It was cool.

I just love this picture. It looks like Sam just punched Ronnie in the arm and is so proud of himself. But, Ronnie is just not a fan of pictures these days. They do love taking baths together, though. Sam pretty much loves to do anything his big brother is doing.

Christmas cookies with Mama and Papa was fun for Ronnie. We usually treasure the two hours of naptime that Sam gets and do something special with Ronnie.

Ronnie loves to play the "guitar". His favorite band right now is the Beastie Boys and his favorite song is "Fight for your Right to Party!" I change some of the words, but it's pretty hilarious to hear him sing it.

This Christmas was great. We really missed having family here, but it was the first year we haven't had anyone here in about 8 years, so it was kind of nice in a way too! Ronnie asked Santa for a Mastadon/Wooly Mammoth. I know, we have one cool kid! There was a big dinosaur find here in Colorado and there's a lot of new mastadon/mammoth bones that they're showing at the Nature and Science museum. So, he's into it.

Sam got some crazy car toy from Nana and Papi as well as some cool tools, cars and blocks. They made out, but it wasn't too out of control, which is good. Now we're planning Sam's birthday....the big O.N.E.
