Sam's Getting Big

It seems like months that he's been here, but little Sam is just celebrating his nearly 2 week birthday! We're tired...

Sam had his first doctor's appointment today and he's huge! He's already weighing in at 9 lb and he's grown 2 inches since birth. WOW... that's good because newborn clothes are so big on babies. Maybe that's why they grow so fast so they can fit in their clothes.

Ronnie had his first fondue the other night and he loved it! He even got to dunk his own bread.

My mom has come to the rescue earlier than planned, which has been a lifesaver. She is so good with Ronnie and Sam. Ronnie loves how silly she is and Sam loves all the cuddles and talking she does with him. I love that i can take a nap in the afternoon and Rob loves that he can actually sit down once in awhile.

Ronnie sure does love his little brother, though. All he wants to do is give hugs and kisses. It's the first thing he wants to do in the morning and the last thing he does before bed- kiss his brother!

It is nice having Ronnie in "school" twice a week- Monday and Wednesday- so we can have a little break. Ronnie loves it too, i think. He loves all the kids there and the activities they do like art and circle time and music. Plus, he's still going to his music together class on Thursday, which he adores.

I've been feeling good but a bit stretched. A little bit of the "baby blues" only because there's so much to do and see and love that I want to do it all! But, sadly, I can't and I know i need to nap every day and really take care of myself. Getting lots of hugs from Rob and Ronnie really helps!
