Our visit with Grandma Lux was so great! Does anyone else want to come out here for 3 weeks? Unless you're a parent, you don't get the room with the air conditioning, though. Ronnie had such a great time with her. They walked to the park, Grandma got him an early birthday present... a bike! He loves it! He feels like such a big boy on it, you can see it in his face. She also got him some coooool tennis shoes, which he wears every day now- no sandals! Rob has been refinishing the deck so the kids can go out there with bare feet and not get splinters- always a nice feature in an outdoor play area!

Ronnie has been doing so many new things. He's copying what we say more and more. He says some stuff backwards, though, which is so cute (until the doctor tells me it isn't, of course!) For instance, he says "Pa-Pee" for Pizza. Pizza is fast becoming his favorite food! (For all of those who don't have it, get the cookbook The Silver Spoon and the pizza dough recipe is great! It takes a bit more kneading than they recommend, but it turns out so yummy!) But, his thing for about a week was wearing socks on his hands for "Mim-Mitts", which is mittens, of course. He didn't care is the socks were clean or dirty! It was pretty cute.

The 4th of July was so fun. The neighborhood association had it's second annual parade and we decorated Ronnie's wagon. The park was filled with kids. Of course my mom got us matching shirts!
Really, Rob and I were so grateful to have more time with each other! We worked together at the shop a lot more, went to the store together, went out to dinner and lunch a few times. It was great. We went to the Natural History Museum, the Zoo (twice!) but mostly just went to the park and sat on the front porch, which Ronnie loves just as much.

She just sits there and eats and looks over and says, "Hi, Ronnie" clear as day! Ronnie can't say his name clearly yet, it's more "Na-nee" but we're practicing!

Hi! I love all the latest pictures! You guys look so patriotic on the 4th, and your little tummy is showing!!!! :) How are you feeling? Ronnie looks great. I love the backpack photo. He looks like he's in college, just heading out to a day of playing frisbee on the quad.
Btw I just voted for the Truffle on the Denver A-list thingie!!
