May was a good month! Ronnie is starting to talk so much more and really play by himself pretending with his toys, which is so fun to watch. He has been a bit Mommy crazy the last few days, though, so Rob took him to the zoo this morning to give me some quite time. What a great Papa!

We've had some visitors from Germany visit for a few nights, Rainer and Uta Voigt. They were great to have. Ronnie loved them! Their daughter stayed with Rob's family when Rob was in High School, so they've known each other for a long time. We went on a hike to Red Rocks, which Ronnie LOVED! We bought a backpack for him and now he says, "hike" whenever he sees it. We also went to the zoo and toured around Denver with them. It was fun!

Also, on Memorial Day, The Truffle Cheese Shop took 50 customers to a local farm, Windsor Dairy, for a tour and lunch as well as cheese tasting. It was so much fun. Ronnie loved seeing the cows and goats but was a little freaked by all the chickens running around- there were hundreds! It was a beautiful day. Ronnie even skipped his nap and he didn't have any meltdowns! What a good boy.

Speaking of good kids, that Claire is amazing! We went to her house to play and she is so much fun! First of all, she has an amazing vocabulary. She says, "thank you" very clearly and politely. She can pretty much speak in full sentences to get what she wants. Ronnie is just starting to play with his friends! So whatever Claire was doing he wanted to do- the same with his friend Parker down the street. They start copying each other and really paying attention to what the other is doing. It's great to watch.

OK...All else is good. Rob and I are working hard at the shop. We got to go out on a date last week for our 7 year Anniversary- we stayed out until 12:30! Boy were we tired!!!!
