Well, December 1st officially starts the holiday season and we're more excited than ever. Thanksgiving was so much fun. Rob's folks and Jasmine came for a visit. Ronnie loves big kids! He was exhausted at the end of each day from chasing Jasmine around the house. He especially liked bathtime with Jasmine.

Now we're gearing up for Christmas. Grandpa and Nana Lux are coming out to visit and we can't wait. We'll get our tree soon, which i'm kind of nervous about with Ronnie. I think this year i'll just tie ribbons on the branches and put on lights because he's kinda into EVERYTHING! He's been biting and throwing things and hitting... it's exhausting. Dr. Sears (i'm following The Baby Book) says to just keep repeating "no hitting", "no biting", "be gentle" and it seems to work. I think he's just at that age where he's learning how to use his body. We're also teaching him table manners, but that's like teaching a dog to knit! He'll get there...
Copying us... he's so funny! He says "AChoo" everytime anyone sneezes or coughs. It's quite cute. I made a "yuck" noise the other day and he copied me exactly- that was scarry. I thought, "what else am i doing that i don't want him to do!" Just another reason to become a better person, i guess!
Trying to talk... when we were eating last night he copied my mouth when I said Olive. He's getting close to talking. He's still using his sign language for most things he wants, which is great. He says: bubble and ball and then makes the moo noise for milk. We were practicing cracker last night, too. He loves looking at the pictures of family on the wall. He's really close to saying "Grandma" and he actually said "Nana" today! He articulates his mouth and watches our lips when we talk. It's pretty cool.
Rob's folks brought us Rob's old blocks from when he was little and I think Rob likes them more than Ronnie right now! Rob loves to build little towers for Ronnie to knock down... it's fun for the whole family!

Dinner was delicious, of course! Rob rolled the turky breast in a veal stuffing, I made the yeast rolls and Mom made the pies. It was delicious!! Ronnie, unfortunately, is getting three new teeth all at once, so he was a bit crabby during dinner. He's feeling much better now, but it was tough there for awhile!

Ronnie had the best time with Grandma and Grandpa. They're fun to crawl all over and Grandma is a good reader.

Walking! He's walking everywhere now. His steps are smaller so he can walk faster and seems more stable on his feet.

She's talking (saying "baby" clear as day) and i wouldn't be surprised if she was walking now.
