Happy Halloween

Halloween is super fun this year. While Ronnie isn't quite sure what's going on, he's loving looking like a frog and seeing other kids and adults dress up and looking silly. He especially loves pumpkins. He loves to eat them and he loves seeing them around. He thinks they're balls! So, he's saying, "ball, ball" all the time.

The pumpkin patch was so much fun! Last year is was muddy and cold and Ronnie was crying and uncomfortable. This year he was standing and playing with the pumpkins and loved being in the field.

We've gone on two "trick or treat street" walks. No candy this year, but next year is another story! It's fun seeing all the kids dress up. The most creative costume we saw so far was a chicken with its head cut off! The kid was a bloody chicken and his dad was a butcher with a rubber cleaver! What's better is that his bucket for candy was a KFC bucket! Too much!

All else is well. Ronnie's ultrasound of his kidney still showed fluid but the doctor/surgeon didn't seem to be concerned. He said it can take up to a year for the fluid to drain normally. So, we'll just keep getting ultrasounds and see what happens.
We're gearing up for a busy holiday season at The Truffle. Some of the Christmas goodies are already arriving. Yeah!!! Business is good and we're so grateful and fortunate. Believe me... we don't take one person who steps into the shop for granted!

The weather here has been great! It's an Indian Summer!!!! So, we've been going to the park still and having nice long walks.

Ronnie has a new friend!! Lucas is Kirsten and Don's little boy. We meet at story time at the library so far, but i think we'll be good friends! Kirsten is actually an old friend of Cheri and Jenny's from college.

OK.. hopefully this video will load too! xoxoxo
