Getting BIG!!

Ronnie is so amazing... how many blogs have i started with that sentence?! He's become so big and so much more everything lately: independent, taller, a better eater, a crawler, feeding himself more things, talking more and even standing up while holding on to things.

He's eating like a champ! We even gave him his first cheese: Cornilly, a French goat's milk cheese. He LOVES it! I do believe, though, that he'll put anything in his mouth that we give to him.

Did you read correctly?! Ronnie's crawling?!

Well, yes! He's not fast, or even efficient in his crawling, but he gets what he wants where it is. He's also really good at finding bits of dirt and other things on the floor.

He giggles all the time, he love to play with Daddy and he's just so active. He's down to one and a half naps a day- not later than 3pm seems to help him sleep through the night.

Did I mention talking?! Well, weeks ago, Rob insists Ronnie said "Papa", but i'm suspicious (as any "Mama" would be). However, I have heard him say "Dada" when Rob walks in the room. So, it's official... Ronnie's first word was Dada! And, when i gave him his bath last night he was holding his rubber ducky and after i said "Duck" he goes, "Du". Does that make him a genius? I don't know, but i think he's going to start writing poetry soon. Perhaps those college applications i sent away for will come in handy sooner than we thought!

I'm not sure what's going on with the video application on Google, but i can't seem to upload any right now. I promise i'll keep trying. Until then, enjoy some stills. We went to the Prior's the other night for dinner. That Claire... she's amazing too!!
