Happy Thanksgiving

Hi everyone! Well, another delicious Thanksgiving is behind us and it was so much fun. Rob's family was here to meet little Ronnie and celebrate with us. We had 18 people! WOW! The dinner was amazing: 2 turkeys, squash gratin, wild mushroom stuffing, oyster stuffing, asparagus, mass quantities of gravy and, of course, my wonderful sweet yeast rolls!

Here's Rob with his dad:

The Three RWL's!

Rob's sister and brother-in-law were here from Holland with their three daughters, Rob's grandma was here from Vermont with her granddaughter Rachel, Rob's other sisters Sherry and Jean were here with Jean's son Preston and Sherry's boyfriend Aaron, Kim and Rutger's friend Ed was here from the Bay Area, and Rob's youngest uncle Fred was here with his fiancee Christine!

Ronnie was an angel, of course! He's finally found his thumb, which is very cute. On Thursday night he slept 9 hours through the night! It must have been all the turkey his mommy ate! He had his first sleepover at the house the Lawler's rented in the mountains and did wonderful. I won't lie, though, it's a lot easier to take care of him when we're at home. But, having family around was nice and they all fell in love with our little man.

It was also nice because Rob's sister Jean gave us her son's hand-me-downs! We now have another whole bag of clothes, which is nice because Ronnie's growing so fast! Her son, Preston, is so amazing. We can't wait until Ronnie is that big. He can almost crawl, he holds his own bottle and is so giggly and smiley. He's a doll.

Our friends Bruce and Jenny had their little girl: Claire Patricia Prior! Visit her blog by clicking on the link to the right. She's so cute! She really looks like a pretty little girl. We can't wait to meet her. We have to wait a bit until all the toddler germs are killed from our week with all the neices!

Here's a nice picture of Rob's sister Kim with her youngest daughter Juliette who turns two on new year's eve! The kids made turkey hats for all of us to wear on thanksgiving. It was really fun.

Kim's friend Ed brought amazing wine for dinner, which was nice. I haven't been drinking too much, but it was great to have some of "the good stuff".

We went for a hike one day, saw a lot of deer around the house and Rutger took all the kids in the hot tub. It snowed about 3 or 4 inches the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, which was so nice. It's a good way to kick off the winter season.

The Truffle is doing well. We were sooo busy this week for the holiday. I know it will only keep up until New Year's. Alright... more pictures. Our little boy is growing so fast and changing every day, it seems. We love you all... xoxo
