Well, our little boy is growing up so fast! He's already three weeks old and he's growing like a weed. His first doctor's appointment was last Tuesday and he did great. The doctor said he was "perfect", of course! I forgot to ask her if he was gifted, but I'm sure she would have said yes!He gained a bunch of weight! At birth he was 7# 14 oz, and last week he was 8# 10.5oz! He also grew by about 2 inches. So, at least we know he's getting enough to eat! He's changing so much, it seems. I can't believe how much heavier he feels.
He's still a good baby- a few hours of awake and alert time in the day and sleeping well at night. He gets up for feedings every 3 to 4 hours. It seems like he's getting a bit harder to soothe when he is fussy, but I think he's just growing and changing. He gets gas! Oh boy! The other day Rob was changing him and he stuck his legs out straight and shook them and let one rip! It was so funny...
Grandma is still here- cleaning the living room while Ronnie and I are up here resting and bloggin'. He's laying on his boppy on my lap and grunting and moaning! He really is a talker. We're so curious about what he's dreaming of. Sometimes it's obvious- sucking! Other times, he's smiling and cooing and raising his eyebrows.

We've been dressing him in all the wonderful outfits everyone has been sending! The sock monkey ensemble is our favorite right now, but it's getting a bit chilly to wear it without the blanket. Ronnie's great Aunt Anne Bittner sent that! Also, the kimono onesie that his cool New Yorker friend Laila sent him is up there as a favorite.

I think tomorrow we're going to the pumpkin patch, so hopefully we'll get some more good pictures in all the Halloween outfits that Grandma Lux bought him.
I'm feeling well. I know it's time to go out for more walks, but I'm feeling lazy and the weather is getting cooler and wetter! There's a group here called "Hot Mammas" that gets together and exercises off the baby weight. But, I've been reluctant to Google it, for obvious reasons! So, I think we'll just find them on our own outside!
OK.. More pictures, less words!!! We Love You!!! Karin and Ronnie
